Production Partners · Muskingum County, Ohio
Goshen Pictures is partnering with businesses and organizations throughout Muskingum County to help produce an independent feature film right here in Ohio.
A Feature Film Made With the Community
The Crossing: Shoulders of Mercy is an independent dramatic feature about compassion, sacrifice, forgiveness, faith, and the real cost of helping others.
Goshen Pictures intends to film the majority of the production in the Zanesville and Muskingum County area, and we want to source as many goods, services, locations, and production needs locally as practical. This is not a request for donations — it is an invitation to work together. Every crew meal, hotel room, rental, and vendor relationship we can keep in Ohio keeps this production's activity in the local economy.

Current Production Needs
These are the categories our production is actively sourcing. If your business fits any of them, we'd welcome a conversation.
Product Placement
Some partnerships fit naturally within the world of the film. When a product, vehicle, or storefront belongs in a scene, we'd rather it come from a Muskingum County business than a prop house.
Product placement must fit naturally within the story and is subject to production approval. Screen placement cannot be promised to every partner.
Production Partner Recognition
Depending upon the type and level of contribution, possible recognition may include:
Recognition and placement are determined individually based upon the partnership.
Keeping Production Local
“A local film should create local opportunities.”
When possible, Goshen Pictures wants production dollars and production activity to benefit businesses in Zanesville and Muskingum County. Instead of bringing every service in from outside Ohio, we want to build relationships with local businesses that can help house, feed, equip, transport, and support our cast and crew.
What Does a Partnership Look Like?
A business might:
Businesses do not have to donate anything. We are equally interested in traditional vendors, discounted services, sponsorships, and in-kind partnerships.

Community Organizations
Goshen Pictures also welcomes collaboration with organizations across the county, including:
These are organizations we would welcome working with. No endorsement, sponsorship, or partnership should be inferred from this list unless that relationship has been formally established.

We believe filmmaking can be more than bringing cameras into a community. It can create relationships, support local businesses, showcase local talent, and leave something meaningful behind. If your business or organization would like to become part of The Crossing: Shoulders of Mercy, we'd love to hear from you.
